Sukhminder GrewalCHANDIGARH: Senior BJP Leader and BJP Investor Cell Chief of Punjab, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, Advocate stated that Separatist Leaders to pack their bags and should start looking for refuge in foreign countries as the recent “slip of tongue” of Pakistani President Zardari suggests that thought process is changing in Pakistan.

He said that  it showed separatists, illegitimate and anti-National demand for merger of Kashmir with Pakistan or separation of Kashmir from India have no takers worldwide.

“Though Zardari have backed off from his “original statement” but it will be a tight slap on the faces of all those who raised Pro-Pakistan slogans and unfurled Pakistani flags at Lal Chownk in the recent times”, added Grewal.

Pakistani President may have taken a U-turn from its original statement but people of Kashmir should weight the character and conviction of separatist leaders such as APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Shah Geelani from the fact that he immediately switched from his earlier “Pro-Pakistan” stance to “Plebiscite for Kashmiris” the moment Zardari stated Kashmiri militants are “terrorists”.

Grewal rued that Zardari volte-face from his “original statement” not only indicates that Pakistani President is a victim of coalition politics but it also gauges the importance of hardliner religious groups presence in Pakistani Politics. He regretted that Zardari’s statement could have been a history had he stuck to his stance and could have been helpful in bringing the derailed peace process back on track. Grewal went on to advise UPA Government to take statements of Pakistani Leadership with a pinch of salt as earlier also former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif stabbed Sh. Atal Behari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India in the back by signing Lahore Peace accord by one hand and simultaneously architecting Kargil War with the other hand.

Briefing Mediapersons at Chandigarh, Grewal thanked Sh. Rajnath Singh, National President, BJP, L.K Advani, Leader of Opposition,  Balbir Punj, Incharge, Punjab State, BJP, Arun Singh, National Convenor, Investor Cell, Prof. Rajinder Bhandari, BJP President, Punjab for appointing Harjeet Singh Grewal as Chairman, of Punjab Infotech Ltd and congratulated H.S.Grewal on taking over as Chairman of premier IT company of Punjab Government and Sh. Vijay Sampla for appointing him as Chairman, Punjab Backward Classes Land Development and Finance Corporation. Grewal stated that that under visionary and dynamic leadership of  H.S Grewal, knowledge intensive Hi-tech Industry will grow manifold across Punjab bringing huge employment opportunities for our educated youth and will put an end to the brain drain outside Punjab. He added that Sh. Vijay Sampla’s elevation would be of immense benefit to people of backward classes.
