PHAGWARA:  Three persons were killed in three different mishaps occurred in and around Phagwara during last twentyfour hours.

Two  personsincluding one  Mechanical Enginerr-! student Ravinder Kumar and one Junior Engineer of PSEB Mangat Ram of village palahai were killed  in two different mishaps in Phagwara.  young student was run over by a running train near Phagwara railway station today.He was hearing songs through headset microfone and could not noticed the coming train when he was crossing the railway lines.J

E Mangat Ram was hit and crushed by a speeding vehicle when he was on his morning walk near village Palahai. In third incidentne Rail passenger Harbans Singh (72) died on the spot when he suddenly fell down from the door of the train in which he was standing at Phagwara Railway Station..All three deadbodies were sent to local civil hospital for postmarterm examination,police said.
