CHANDIGARH:- Ram Niwas home Secretary –Cum- Secretary Tourism, UT Administration on Friday launched a book supported by Chandigarh Tourism department title" Chandigarh- A Tourist Paradise".

Sanjay Kumar Finance Secretary, Vivek Atray Director Public Relations and Cultural Affairs-Cum- Director Chandigarh Tourism, Vinod Kalia Deputy Director Chandigarh Tourism and others were also present there.

The book encloses all valuable information about Chandigarh which will benefit the local and foreign tourists to the major extent .R.K. Thaman Veteran Educationist of Chandigarh is the author of the book, who has compiled the information for the book. This book provides handy information to the tourists and is on sale at all the tourist information centers/counters.

Home Secretary said" The book should be available as reference to the tourists in all the rooms of CITCO hotels". He appreciated the efforts done by Tourism Department and Thaman in bringing out the book.
