Govinda denied reports of road accident

AMRITSAR: Bollywood star Govinda here on saturday denied the media reports wherein it was said that he had narrow escape and got injuries on road accident today early in the morning.



Talking to the media persons here today he said that as such there was no road accident and he was fit, fine and in high spirits and described report of accident was totally null and void.

Govinda visited the city with his family to pay obeisance at the Harmandhar Sahib (Golden Temple) and was staying at the M.K. International Hotel.

Senior congress leader seeking anonymity claimed that Congress High Command sent him Govida to Amritsar to pay obeisance at the Sanctum sanctorum of the Golden Temple to seek the blessing of Almighty as Congress party may field him for the next Parliament election from Amritsar against the sitting BJP MP and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu.
