AMRITSAR: Six kilogram of Heroin (drug) worth Rs. 30 crore has being seized at the Indo-Pak international border at Khemkaran nere here on Sunday.

Confirming the seizure,  Special Narcotic cell (SNC) of Punjab police said that they retrieved the drug consignment on the tip of which was buried at beyond the barbed fencing at zero line on international border.

Official said that they were having specific information regarding the consignment which was buried in the mud for the Indian based smuggler by the Pakistan based smuggler Zulfikar who dared to cross over to India, concealed the six packets of drugs and returned to Pakistan.

Official said that when information was passed on to Indian based smuggler was intercepted by the SNC. There after with the help of BSF based as Ferozpur sector search operation was launched and recovered the huge consignment of drug. SNC has also got the clue of Indian abased smugglers who was supposed to recover the drug from zero line would be nabbed shortly as raiding team was after him.
