LUDHIANA: Approximately  64 percent of the voters Wednesday cast their votes for  the  Ludhiana Parliamentary  Constituency polling  in the  general elections.  The polling remained generally peaceful and there is no incident reported in the district.   

The polling was 61 percent in Ludhiana  East, 55.12 percent in Ludhiana South, 60 percent in  Atam Nagar, 65 percent in Gill, 71 percent in  Dakha. 68 percent in Jagroan (SC), 65 percent  Ludhiana Central, 62 percent in  Ludhiana West, 63.63 percent in  Ludhiana North.
