NAWAN SHEHAR: Even as the state health institutions have been put on alert across the state to effectively deal with the dengue fever, a homeopath based in Nawan Shehar in Punjab Dr Rajnish Kapur, has claimed  that homeopathy has a complete cure for the fever with full recovery.

"There is the fastest & cheapest treatment in homeopathy with control & recovery in all stages," says Dr Kapur. In the first stage when symptoms start with suddenness accompanied with marked thirst and restlessness and body pains, nausea & vomiting, a few doses of Aconitum napellus 200 repeated after 15 minutes helps in stopping the febrile symptoms soon. Similarly, Bryonia Alba 30 helps a great deal if there are bone pains, not deep in nature and there is thirst for large quantities of water after long intervals.

Eupatorium Perforatum 200 is a specific remedy for Break-Bone Fever, when there are deep bone pains that become unbearable for the patient and relief comes with few doses of this medicine which is 2 drops every hour till complete recovery, says the homeopath. China 30 called "amrit" in Homeopathy for Break-Bone fever, when given hourly to the patient, eliminates the totality of symptoms from the body. The symptoms are fever, palpitations with good appetite, weakness, with
loss of sleep, sallow complexion.

It is miraculous in Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, when bleeding with low counts of platelets is there, it can increase the platelets count, according to Dr Kapur who adds that if symptoms persist & vomiting is there then Ipecac 30 be given in-between for 6 hours 2 drops half hourly.

For Dengue Hemorrhagic fever, Arsenic. alb 200 [with chilliness], Ferrum met 30, Hamamelis Q [ 10 drops every half an hour till bleeding stops ], Belladona 30, Cantharis 30 work well, maintains Dr Kapur.
