Rayat - Bahra Group inks MoU with Hash Group of Companies

MOHALI: The Rayat - Bahra group and Hash Biotech Labs Pvt Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inking an industrial tie-up and long term association with the global company.



Vice-chairman Rayat-Bahra group, Gurvinder Singh Bahra said that under the agreement, Hash Group and Rayat-Bahra Group shall jointly work on enhancing research and development, training and placement, industrial seminars and interaction opportunities for the B. Tech (bio-medical), B Pharma, M. Pharma, D. Pharma students of all three campuses of Rayat-Bahra Group at Mohali, Ropar and Hoshiarpur.

While addressing the students Dr. Sandeep Kaura, AMD, Rayat-Bahra Group said that healthcare and bio technology are most promising and growing sectors of the 21st Century. Masses awareness towards their health needs opens spectra of opportunities for student community.

He said that Hash Group is one of the fastest growing multi-industry conglomerates in Northern India. The group consists of five diverse businesses and team of leading industry professionals, who specialize in value creation, manage each segment. It includes real estate / infrastructure ventures, bio-tech labs, specialists in information technology, has entertainment powerhouse and has international trading company.

Dr Surendra Singh Chief Technology Officer, Hash Group highlighted rising opportunities and technical trends in field of bio technology.Rahat Virk, vice president - marketing said that in competitive world, a student should be armed with technical and conceptual knowledge to be employable. Ritu Mahajan, Manager – HR, addressed the students and told them about various training and career opportunities in Hash Bio Tech.

More than 400 students from different colleges of Rayat-Bahra group attended the seminar.
