Punjab to restart 'Punjab Youth Awards' Print E-mail

PATIALA: “Punjab to restart 'Punjab Youth Awards'  very soon and Deputy Chief Minister S. Sukhbir Singh Badal  has accepted the proposal of this effect.”

This was disclosed by Youth Development Board Chairman S. Gurpreet Singh Raju Khanna here on Friday.

Raju Khnnna, who is also the president of Students Organisation of India (SOI) a wing of SAD, said that Youth awards will be given to given to the young people who have made state proud in any fields.

Gurpreet Singh Raju Khanna said that S, Sukhbir Singh Badal will announce a Transport Policy for Students next month. He said that with the implementation of this policy long lasting tussle among students and transporters will come to an end.

Briefing about the student policy he said that like other government departments this policy will be on voucher system pattern.

Youth Development Board is stream ling all the Youth Clubs of the state and making them active so that they could benefit from the Youth policies of the Government, he added.
