CHANDIGARH: As a part of ongoing NCC week celebration, NCC Group Headquarters, Chandigarh organized a foot rally from Sukhna Lake to CCET, Sector 26, Chandigarh where 150 cadets of Senior and Junior Wing/Division participated. 

The aim of the rally was to bring social awareness about ill effects of drugs, cancer and AIDS etc.  The rally was flagged off on Wednesday by Col D. Gupta, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters, Chandigarh.  

Slogans on anti drug and smoking was raised and handouts, pamphlets on Cancer were distributed all along the route. 

On arrival  of the rally at Group Headquarter, Chandigarh a cancer awareness lecture was also organized and undertaken by Sahayta Charitable Welfare Society, Chandigarh.
