NUMERIC to enter Green Energy Solutions

PARWANOO: Numeric Power Systems Limited, India’s No.1 UPS company, is venturing in to Green Energy Solutions that is , Solar Power Systems, Wind Energy Generation and LED Lighting Systems.
NUMERIC has recently launched a 100% owned subsidiary, Numeric Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. The company’s objective is to offer very specialized and standard Solar product range to support every need to conserve energy under the Renewable Energy program combined with Energy Efficient LED Lighting Solutions for a wide range of applications.
The company is planning a 1-MW solar project in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where it has a 1.5-MW windmill farm. The company has chalked an investment budget of Rs. 25 crore for the purpose. Also the company is preparing to invest in LED lighting systems projects.
Mr. R. Chellappan, Managing Director, said the company will buy solar cells from suppliers in Japan and Germany and configure panel modules and assemble them. “We are also toying with the idea of foraying into the precision air-conditioning space with a strategic partner,” he said.
NUMERIC is the pioneer in Solar Energy System by being the first UPS Company to have installed in 1995 a 1.1kWp solar power generation system at its Fabrication Plant, Chennai.
Numeric has installed about 200 kWp of solar power generation system and commissioned very successfully for its captive power generation besides over 100 installations for many Banks and other customers. This new development happened during the Silver Jubilee Year with a great initiative towards green energy program in support of carbon-free world.
In addition, NUMERIC is poised for developing Mega Watt (MW) range of Solar Energy Farms within the Wind Energy Farm already owned by NUMERIC.
