Punjab police recovered cocaine worth Rs 10 crore, 2 held |

LUDHIANA: Punjab police has seized cocaine worth nearly Rs 10 crore in the international market and nabbed two Haryana-based drug peddlers, including a woman.
The 1-kg drug was recovered from a man and a woman, both belonging to Haryana, while they were travelling in a bus from the neighbouring state towards Amritsar city. Ludhiana SSP Sukhchian Singh Gill told newsmen here on Friday, Sita Devi and her male friend Chand, both from Shahbad in Haryana, were nabbed on GT Road near Sahnewal last night. They have been booked under various sections of the NDPS Act. |
