QADIAN(India): Eid-Ul-Adha was celebrated in with gaiety here in Qadian. The day is observed to mark the sacrifices made to to Almighty Allah by the Prophets Ibrahim and Ismail (Peace be upon them).

Muslims sacrificed the animals in a mark of respect and homage, and to commemorate the sacrifices made by Prophet Ibrahim and his son Prophet Ismail to Allah. Prophet Ibrahim had offered his son Prophet Ismail to Almighty Allah. Allah had accepted His beloved Prophet's sacrifice and bestowed on him a heavenly goat.In the international head quarter of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community thousands of Muslims today offered prayers at Ahmadiyya Ground Qadian. Maulvi Mohammad Inam Ghauri Chief Secretary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat India led the prayer.Addressing the gathering, Mr Mohammad Inam Ghauri appealed to all Muslims to follow the right path showed by the Prophet Mohammed and follow the 'sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim and be ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of Allah. After the Eid Khutba muslims took their hands for prayers. People greeted by hugging each others.

A large number of Hindu and Sikhs also came in Idgah to greet Muslims. A special DAWAT was given by Langar Khana Hadhrat Masih Maood Alaislam. Special PALAO and ZARDA was served to the peoples. Special arrangements were made for women’s to offer eid namaz in Qadian.
