AMRITSAR: The largest food chain in India, inaugurated its flagship store here. The inauguration of the first McDonald’s store in city has received phenomenal response from the residents of Amritsar.
Head of Operations, McDonald’s India (Northern & Eastern Region) Kailash Agarwal, said designed with the new state-of-the-art technology driven MFY (Made for You) food preparation platform, the restaurant is spread across 2200 square feet with a seating capacity for 90 people.
The McDonald’s menu flaunts an elaborate range of burgers, wraps and fries with an assortment of sundaes, soft serve and refreshing beverages like iced tea & cold coffee, at prices starting from Rs. 12/- for the McLovers to enjoy. The pricing of these mouth-watering food items is tax exclusive. The ‘Happy Price Menu’ available with a number of products starting at the price range of Rs. 20/- will prove to be alluring for all.
Agarwal, said, “Amritsar is one of those North Indian cities of our country which is experiencing an accelerated urban growth.”
McDonald’s has174 restaurants in India of which 91 are in North & East India and 83 in West & South India
