MOHALI: Jim Karygiannis M.P of canada visited Guru Aasra trust here Thursday  on an invitation by SAD Panch Pardhani. Members of different religious, political and human rights organization  questioned  M.P regarding deportation of Parminder singh Saini convicted for hijacking plane. Saini was  deported to India from Canada on Wednesday.

Canadian MP replied that he himself met Saini and he was deported because of his previous history. Sandeep singh Canadian, the  All India gen sec Youth SAD Panch Pardhani and Harpal Singh Cheema said that it was unfortunate that Parminder was depoted. They also  strongly condemned the action of Cana Government. Parminder Saini had taken degree in Canadian law because he wanted to fight for Sikhs under judicial system of that country.

Sikh leaders said they were happy to see second Canadian M.P visiting this orphanage on humanity grounds but  its unfortunate that none of Indian M.P’s has visited this place ever. It is important to mention here that ruling party in Punjab SAD Badal is under no pressure from the centre government but still they have never forwarded helping hand for the noble cause being done in the trust.

Jim Karygiannis was also presented a book  written by Manmohan Singh Jammu on sikh martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir.  M.P honoured Bibi Kulbir Kaur Dhami, Harpal Singh Cheema and Sandeep Singh Canadian .

Jim Karygiannis was honored with sword and trophies. Bibi Dhami, Kanwer Singh Dhami, Advocate Amar singh chahal, Rajvinder Singh Bains, Bibi Harbans Kaur ( wife of Shaheed Charanjit singh Talwandi), Mahavir singh mohali, and many more attended the function.

(Earlier in this news, it was inadvertently mentioned that Jim Karygiannis had released the book written by Manmohan Singh Jammu. The mistake is regretted).
