Jagmohan Singh Kang appointed APRO of U.P. Election Authority

CHANDIGARH: Senior congress leader, Former Punjab Minister and Member AICC, Jagmohan Singh Kang has been appointed by the Congress High Command as Member of Pradesh Election Authority for the UPCC organizational elections-2010 for very important/prominent state of U.P.



As per AICC communique, Kang would be acting as APRO (Additional Pradesh Returning Officer) for the Uttar Pradesh Elections.

The pradesh election authority consists of Paban Singh Ghatowar, MP, Former Union Minister (Assam) Chairman/PRO and J.D. Seelam MP (Andhra Pradesh), Jagmohan Singh Kang (Punjab), Suraj Khatri, General Secretary, Rajasthan PCC and Nirmala Sawant Prabhalwalkar, Ex-Mayor Mumbai (Maharashtra). 

The state election authority has been constituted by the Congress High Command/Central Election Authority of AICC to ensure free and fair organizational elections of the party in U.P
