Samjhauta Express blasts security failure:Bitta

FATEHGARH SAHIB: Maninderjit Singh Bitta, president, All India Anti Terrorist Front said that recent blast in Samjhauta Express caused by explosives speaks volumes of
security failure on part of the Home Ministry. 

Talking to media persons, Bitta sharing his experiences after visiting the site, said he had talked to the relatives of the victims, the weak security measures taken by the government were exposed as there was no check on passengers who were boarding the train. He further said in Pakistan several checks
were initiated at several stations during the journey.

Former Punjab Youth Congress president , Bitta  lauded the efforts and sacrifice of former Chief Minister Beant Singh who adopted stringent measures to control
terrorism in the state, such measures should be adopted in Jammu and Kashmir ,Assam and other terrorist-affected states, he suggested.
