FATEHGARH SAHIB: Fatehgarh Sahib police Wednesday constituted a special team to solve missing mystery of a  Haryana trader Rajan ethi whose  car was Tuesday recovered from Narwana branch of Sirhind canal.



Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Paramraj Singh Umaranangal informed that a special team comprising Fatehgarh Sahib SP (Detective), DSP and area inspectors have been constituted to immediately solve the case.  He said it may be case of suicide but if the Jagadhri based trader Rajan Sethi committee suicide then he body should be floated in Narwana  canal from where his car was recovered. He said that though the car was fell in the canal but when police recovered it with the help of crane it was in good condition.

He said that when the police took the car out of the canal, body of Rajan was not inside car. As per reports, the car was locked from inside and the windows were rolled up.

He said that Rajan family members told the police that he got repaired his car but when the police contacted area mechanics they refused to repair any such car.

The SSP said that the police is working on various theories. He hoped that the case would be solved soon.

Sources said that police is making efforts to get some clues from the mobile number of the missing person.  Sources said that the police is yet to recover Rajan mobile .

The efforts are being made to know the whereabouts of Rajan by his relatives.  The divers searched the canal today  to trace of body of the missing person but their efforts were in vain.   Some relatives of Rajan feel that there is conspiracy to murder their family member.  One of his close relative  informed that someone gave intoxicants to Rajan around three years back and looted  his around Rs 3 lakh . He was recovered near Vardhan Mill, Ludhiana and later admitted to CMC, Ludhiana for recovery . As per this close relative, Sethi was returning to Jagadhri  on G.T. Road, then why he had gone to Patiala road.  He said that Sethi was fat and if his car was drowned  in the canal then there is not possibility that he could be  come out of the car but his body was missing from the car.   

It may be mentioned here that the mystery shrouds the sudden disappearance of a Jagadhri-based trader Rajan Sethi, who went missing under mysterious circumstances while his car was recovered from Narwana branch  Canal recently near Madhopur chowk on Sirhind Patiala road .  Rajan has an old father Chaman Lal, wife Reema and two sons .
