SAD-BJP govt in Punjab not to take path of revenge: Sukhbir Print E-mail

Sukhbir BadalCHANDIGARH: The Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD) would not adopt the path of revenge like Congress party but law would take its own course against all the culprits, Sukhbir Singh Badal General Secretary of SAD Tuesday said after victory of his party in the Punjab assembly elections.

Talking to Media persons, Sukhbir said, “ Economic agenda will be their priority and a development board of the businessmen will be formed and the party will keep its promises so that we can rule over next 25 years”.

A youth development board will be established in which three sections would be there, Education, Sports, and Employment. Three sports institutions like NIS will be established in Majha, Malwa and Doaba. Three cricket stadiums on the same pattern of PCA will be also made. 

Talking on Education for youth, Sukhbir said, they would tie-ups with the foreign institutions for the technical courses. In IT sector, Punjab will be made 5th education hub.

Sukhbir clearly stated on Mega projects that the party is not against of Mega projects but it’s against Mega Loot. For the projects, the government will buy lands from the farmers and the market rate + 30% compensation will be given to the farmers and after that the land will be taken from them.

Talking on Reliance status, he said Reliance is most welcome in Punjab but every project from them will be started after the clear verification by the government and no group will be allowed to acquire land of the farmers without their consent.
