NEW DELHI: The parents of three victims of the Nithari serial killings have moved court against the CBI for letting off main accused Moninder Singh Pandher in connection with kidnapping and murder charges.

A petition was filed in the court of special CBI Judge Sapna Mishra here by the parents of Payal (22), Pinki Sarkar (14) and Payal (14) demanding reinvestigation of the case.

The petition, filed collectively last Saturday, accused the CBI of not making a sincere investigation.

The hearing of the bail applications of Pandher and dismissed sub-inspector Simranjit Kaur has meanwhile been deferred to May 4.

Their defence counsels today deposed before the court of Additional District Judge Rama Jain that they required more time to file evidence in support of the bail pleas.

The application of Kaur has been rejected earlier while co-accused Surindra Koli has not applied for bail.

At least 17 human skulls and bones were dug up from near the house of Pandher in Noida's Sector 31 in December last year.

Koli is reported to have confessed to the CBI to most of the crimes while the agency has not charged Pandher with the kidnapping and murder of the children and women, including Payal, an alleged sex worker.
