FATEHGARH SAHIB: Adesh Partap Singh Kairon, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, who is also  Chairman District Planning Board, Fatehgarh Sahib Wednesday surprised district officials of Fatehgarh Sahib by reaching 15 minutes in advance for holding a meeing.

Most of officials of the district arrived at the venue after the minister’s arrival. He patiently waited for officials before taking the meeting. Kairon is grand son of former Punjab Chief Minsiter Partap Singh Kairon and son-in-law of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.

During the meeting, Kairon, took the information from Fatehgarh Sahib Deputy Commissioner Alaknanda Dayal and other officals about various ongoing developmental
projects and feed the same on his laptop.

During the meeting, the minister directed the PSEB employees to immediate replace the transformers which are not working properly so that farmers will not face any problem.  Didar Singh Bhatti MLA, Sirhind demanded from the minister to pay heed towards development works of the district.  

Alaknanda  Dayal, Deputy Commissioner assured the Minister that the district administration would  implement all the government schemes in transparent manner.  Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Nilabh Kishore, ADC DP Gupta was also present.

During chat with media persons, Kairon evaded media persons reply on various issues. Kairon, refused to comment on the reports of Badal visit to US for medical check-up.
