Punjab govt to spend Rs.150 crore to face lift Amritsar Medical College

AMRITSAR: Punjab Government has prepared Blue Print of Rs. 150 crore to revive the old glory of Government Medical College Amritsar, said Punjab Cabinet Minister for Medical Education and Research Tikshan Sood here Thursday.

Sood was in city to lay the foundation stone of Radio Therapy block of Medical College which would be constructed with the cost of 102.52 lakhs.

It may be mentioned here that Chief Minister Punjab Parkash Singh Badal during his visit in the city on May 5, 200 7declared that the lost glory of Medical College of Amritsar will be restored and in shall be upgraded and transformed into an ultra modem and state of art Medical College & Hospital.
