On the other hand, District Bar Association, Fatehgarh Sahib had opposed the state government decision. A meeting of the association was held today under the president ship of senior lawyer  A.S. Dharni, in which the lawyers condemned the state government decision. Talking to media persons, Dharni said that there is long pending demand of the people of the area  of inclusion of Samrala and Khanna towns in small district Fatehgarh Sahib but instead of conceding this genuine demand, the state government had taken adverse decision by taking away 11 villages of district Fatehgarh Sahib.
