AMRITSAR: Renowned humorist, Jaspal Bhatti has announced to launch Punjab's first full-fledged Film and Animation School at Mohali in Punjab.
Bhatti said on Sunday that the school would go on operation in the first week of July this year which would cater to the needs of all the students in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and Chandigarh. The school would run under the name and style as 'Mad Arts'. The name of the school perfectly goes with the Jaspal Bhatti's all ventures like Ulta Pulta, Flop shows and Nonsense club. However, Bhatti said that this time he was serious about education. Mad Arts means Media and Digital Arts. Bhatti said that his institute would train the students of this region to become actor, directors, editors, cinematographers, radio jockeys and animators. Adding further Bhatti claimed that there is bright future for these professionals in the ever-growing entertainment industry. With the mushrooming of TV channels and the increasing number of films, good actors, actresses, technicians, directors and animators are in great demand. Bhatti said that his institute would offer three-month course in Acting, Direction, Editing, Cinematography, Radio Jockeying and Animation. |
