Punjab BJP shocked over Verma's demise |

CHANDIGARH: Punjab BJP leaders Saturday expressed profound grief over the sudden demise of Sahib Singh verma senior BJP leader and former Delhi Chief Minister who died in a road accident in RaJasthan.
Verma who was incharge of BJP Punjab unit had recently visited the state to revamp the party unit. He had replaced Arun Jaitely. The death ofVerma is considered a major jolt for Punjab BJP. State BJP president Rajinder Bhandari, Manoranjan Kalia Local Government Minister Punjab and Choudhary Swarna Ram Social Security and Technical Education and Industrial training Minister Punjab expressed heart-felt sympathies with the breaved family members. Kalia and Chaudhary Swarna Ram prayed to almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and gave strength to member of the family to bear the blow. Both the Ministers said that Verma was the leader of the masses. Navjot Singh Sidhu BJP MP from Amritsar has also expressed shock over death of Verma. He described him a gentle politician who worked for the upliftment of poor and down trodden during his life time. |
