AMRITSAR: Sixty member delegation led by Panchayati Raj Union Minister Mani Shanker Aiyar on Saturday crossed over to Pakistan through the land route of Wagah border here today.

Before crossing over to Pakistan Aiyar said that delegation led by him during visit to Pakistan would study the Pakistan based Panchayat system and would interact with the Pakistan Panchayt officials.

Aiyar said to make more powerful Panchayati system in Indian it is necessary to study the Panchayati system of other countries.
