CHANDIGARH: In a  fatal accident on the city's roads Sunday night, a 20-year-old youth was killed when the scooter which he was riding was hit by a three wheeler at Dhanas.

The accident occurred when the victim Shakti Singh, who had come to the city from Panipat to stay with his friend some 15 days back was triple riding the scooter with a minor and an adult.

The trio was hit by a three wheeler number PB12 H 3527 on the road near Dhanas at around 11.45 pm. The driver escaped from the spot. While Shakti Singh was seriously injured and succumbed soon at the PGI, Deepak received minor injuries while the 15-year-old minor was still admitted at the PGI.
