Two Chandigarh colleges selected for MAT on Sept 2 Print E-mail

CHANDIGARH: The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for admission to the Master of Administration (MBA) Programme will be conducted on September 2. The All India Management Association(AIMA) will be conducting the MAT test in about 150 prestigious business schools.

Only two schools including Aryans Business School (ABS), near Banur, Tehsil Rajpura and C.T. Institute of Management and Information Technology (CTIMIT), Jalandhar have been included in the list  of participating institutions from Punjab.

Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Business School (ABS), who is coming up with two business schools near Chandigarh, says that due to increasing demand of MBA worldwide, most of the graduate now-a-day wants to opt for MBA/PGPM/PGDM. 
 
This test is usually conducted four times each year in February, May, September and December. The eligibility for the MAT Test is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, but students appearing in final year of their degree course can also apply for the same. MAT bulletin and application form can be obtained on cash payment of Rs 650  at AIMA counter at Delhi, selected branches of Bank of Baroda (BoB), AIMA nodal centers and other outlets. The last date of availability of MAT Bulletin is  August 11 and the last date for filling the form is  August.
