FREMONT(USA); The 15th Festival of India's Independence was celebrated this year by FIA(Federation of Indian Association) & co-sponsored by India Post, Newsweekly in Fremont city of California under the Chairmanship of Dr.Romesh Kumar Japra who is the prominent personality of California.

Amrita Rao, Bollywood Actress joined this function and become the Grand Marshal and congratulated the people for this day.

Before this, Amitabh Bachan, Dharmendra, Urmila Matondakar & many bollywood celebraties had joined this function.

Mayor Jose Esteves (Milpitas City), Steve Cho, Sudham Thomas, Regional Director, Kingfisher Airlines, Mark Green, Supervisor of Santa Klara,, Pete Mequgh, Former Mayor and other prominent personality of California joined this function.

Dr. Japra said that when I started this function, I was not expected that this will extend to these limits.  It was my dream to celebrate my India Independence Day here and I wish our next generation will keep it continue.
