CHANDIGARH: The first Punjab State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament is being organised by the Mohali District Table Tennis Association at the Table Tennis Hall in Sector 23 here from September 15 to 17.

According to Mohali District Table Tennis Association, more than 250 players from all over Punjab are expected to take part in the tournament. Internationals and top ranked players namely Panka Sharma, Vikas Mahajan, Ajay Sharma, Rohit Mahajan in the men's section and Shally Dhawan, Shikha Ghai, Rajni Gupta and Manisha in the women's category are going to participate in this Punjab ranking tournament.

Rajiv Kaushal said that the events would be played are Under-14 sub-junior boys and girls, girls singles Under-17, junior boys and girls singles Under-20, oys and girls singles and men and women singles.

The association will provide board and lodging to all participants. Entry closes with Rajeev Kaushal through respective district secretaries before September 12 at house no. 228, Sector 23-A. More details are available at Cell no. 9872212287.
