Haryana govt exempts entertainment duty on 'Chak De India' |

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda Wednesday announced the exemption of entertainment duty on the film "Chak De India' of its 10 prints for a period of two weeks in the state.
According to a notification issued here by the Haryana Excise and Taxation Department to this effect, the duty has been exempted under sub-section(3) of section 11 of Punjab Entertainment Duty Act, 1955. The film "Chak De India" has been exempted from liability to pay entertainment duty under the said Act subject to the condition that there will not be any refund or foregoing of past collection. |
