BSP to protest state govt’s ‘anti-people’ policies |

FATEHGARH SAHIB: The state BSP chief Avtar Singh Karimpuri has said the party unit launch a massive agitation against the SAD (B)-BJP government for its ‘anti-people policies’.
While addressing a protest rally at Bassi Pathana Sunday, Karimpuri said that Congress, SAD and BJP aretrying to create hatred among the people in the name of religion. He alleged that people of Punjab have suffered badly for over a decade due to this . He said the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)-BJP alliance government in the state had deceived the poor by purchasing their votes and luring them with cheaper slogans like the ‘atta-dal scheme’. He said that the combine has backtracked from all the promises made during elections. He said that the real needy are not getting the benefit of Atta Dal Scheme, the rates of power has been increased. He said that during the coming Parliament elections BSP would play an important role .
