CHANDIGARH: Aryans Educational & Charitable Trust, (AECT), Chandigarh engaged in creating awareness for UGC NET in the region announced extension of Free-Postal Sewa for UGC-NET aspirants till December 2007.
The service has been extended for 6th consecutive term. This service would be available for the UGC NET Aspirants of entire Northern Region i.e. for UGC-NET Students of Punjab, Himachal, Haryana, Delhi, J&K, Rajasthan, Chandigarh etc. After the launching of this service, the students of north India would be able to get application forms and other information free of cost at their doorsteps only. The announcement has come as good news for aspirants as University Grants Commission, New Delhi is expected to announce schedule for December exam in coming week. Giving this information to the press, Anshu Kataria, Chairman, AECT said, "We have started free UGC-Postal service for UGC-NET aspirants of Northern Region of the country especially who live in far flung areas. Due to lack of proper development in that area the aspirants failed to get exact knowledge about the date of examination, syllabus and pattern." Kataria said that to take the advantage of this free Postal Sewa for UGC application form the students just have to send their self-addressed stamped envelop at #164/2, SEC 16-A, Chandigarh. He further told that this service was launched in March 2005 for the first time. After getting overwhelming response, it was extended. More than 15,000 candidates from different parts of North India have availed this service till date. Under this service, aspirants can get information regarding UGC-NET exam by post, free of cost. All expenditure of service will be born by this trust. |
