CHANDIGARH: Jagtar Singh Khatra, DPI(Secondary), Punjab  has got two years extension. Khatra’s retirement was due on September 30, 2007 but he got two years extension now.

He got national awardee in 1996 , so the two years extension was given to him. Sources said that
Education Department sent his case to CM’s office, which cleared the file of his extension.  He was first time appointed DPI(Secondary) on March , 2000. The he was appointed DPI(Elementary) in November, 2002  and again appointed DPI(Secondary) on February this year . He started his career as chemistry  lecturer in Mata Gujri  Senior  School, Fatehgarh Sahib .
