CHANDIGARH: Haryana Police has arrested three hard core criminals while they were scheming in a field near Kharkhoda for looting Sharda Petrol Pump and recovered one Carbine full of 11 bullets, one 9mm Pistol loaded with 4 bullets and one local pistol with one bullet.

While stating this here Sunday, a spokesman of the Police said that those who had been arrested included Shankar, Jaswinder and Ashok of village Butana, Bundal of District Sonipat and village Bhardana of Jhajjar respectively. Two others managed to run away after firing at police team from the spot. Extensive raids were being carried out to nab them at their possible hideouts. He said that these criminals were the main accused in the murder of Rakesh of Gohana. The escaped were Dinesh of village Khanda of Sonipat and Prahlad of village Chudani of Jhajjar.

The FIR had been registered against all these youth under Indian Panel Code and Arms Act and
investigations were in progress. The arrested youth had also revealed that Jaswinder and Ashok had earlier been arrested on charge of homicide.
