CHANDIGARH: Management Aptitude Test (MAT), conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) is going to be held on 2nd December '2007 (Sunday). It is the gateway for many graduates to enter the various colleges. 281 Business Schools are participating in MAT this year from the entire country.
The participating institutes from the region are ABS, Chandigarh, IIBM, Chandigarh, BGIMT, Sangrur, CTIAMS, Jalandhar, PCTE, Ludhiana and PIMT & RIMT, Mandi Gobindgarh. The bulletins for MAT are available for Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir students at all AIMA nodal centres including Aashirwad institute, SCF:30, Sector 15-C, Chandigarh and Bank of Baroda branches. The last date for availablity of forms is 12th November '2007 and that of submission of duly filled forms at AIMA, New Delhi is 17th November '2007. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Business School (ABS), said that the demand for MBA/PGDM has increased manifold especially in Punjab. These professional courses come up with a dignified degree and professional value. Thus, every student aims at cracking MAT . This test is usually conducted 4 times each year in February, May, September and December. The eligibility for the MAT Test is Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, but students appearing in final year of their degree course can also apply for the same. Around 1500 students would participate in MAT from Punjab this year. The students from various states like Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, etc will also appear at Chandigarh and Ludhiana centres. |
