Five member US team visits RIMT Mandi Gobindgarh |

FATEHGARH SAHIB: A five member team from the department of International Business and Economics of Wilkes University of Pennsylvania, America visited RIMT-Institute of Management and Computer Technology, Mandi Gobindgarh.
The students were accompanied by the member of the faculty of the department Prof. Dr. Wagiha A. Taylor. The team was welcomed by the director general of the institute Dr. B.S. Bhatia and the director Dr. Surender Singh. T team interacted with the students and faculty members of the department of business management. The students and the faculty members form the both sides shared their views on the current global economic scenario. They also discussed the role America and India play in the world economy and the issues of common economic interests. Dr. Taylor also shared about the graduate and post graduate management programmes being conducted in her university and learned about the same in India. She was impressed with India's latest strides on the economics front by having the first hand knowledge by visiting India. The American students were particularly impressed with their counterparts whom they termed as 'vibrant and open young Indians'. On this occasion Dr. Bhtaia and Dr. Surender Singh of the institute also shared their expert views about Indian Economy.
