AMRITSAR: Gold ornaments worth Rs. 4 crore, and cash above Rs.5 lakhs stolen from the walled city around at the end of mid night on Sunday
Theft incident came in light, when today morning the owner of the Shop under the name and style “Punjab ornaments and Silver House” Parshotam Kumar reached at his shop and found all the locks of his shop broken. Police team led by Superintendent of Police Koustab Sharma reached on the spot and lodged the complaint, when theft was brought in the notice of police. Complainant Parshotam Kumar in his report lodged to the police has alleged that Gold and Silver ornaments having worth Rs. 4 crore and cash above Rs. 5 lakh were stolen from his shop last night by breaking the locks of his shops by some unidentified thieves. Shop is located in the thickly populated area of the walled city at Guru Bazar where majority of the shops deals with Gold and diamond ornaments. |
