PATIALA: The Punjab Chief Minster Parkash Singh Badal Friday said that Punjab Government has initiated to setup up the institute of masons in Punjab to train unemployed youth.
He later left for New Delhi to meet Labour and Employment minister Oscar Fernandes for seeking institute for masons in Punjab. Addressing a news conference here at Rakhra Technologies he said that Punjab and other parts of country have been facing the shortage of quality skilled workers such like masons etc. for the civil work. He said that the civil work giant Larson and Turbo (L&T) has expressed their interest for the setting up the institute. He said that he would be approaching center Government irrespective which party was heading it for the betterment of the state. He said that including transferring Chandigarh to Punjab he has long list of works for Punjab and he has been raising it in front of center. Regarding relations with the alliance partner BJP he said, " very cordial and there is no rift with them", " in democracy there is possibility of hot and cold and journalists friends should not read much from it." He added. |
