Sankalp Yatra from Kashmir reaches Amritsar in Punjab Print E-mail

AMRITSAR: Sankalp yatra led by PKM (Panun Kashmir moment) victims of terrorism in the valley arrived in the holy city here Tuesday from the trouble torn Kashmir.

Addressing the media persons here today, president of PKM Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo telling the motive of Sankalp Yatra said that through this peaceful yatra problems being faced by the Kashmiri Pandits and displaced Sikh familes being highlighted before the masses and leadership of the Indian nation. 

Ashwani Kumar said that presently there is no law and order in Kashmir as rule of Terrorism was prevailing in the entire Kashmir Valley which was haven in earth.

Adding further he said that due to terrorism thousands of Kashmiri Pandits and Kashmiri Sikhs were displaced from Kashmir and living in Jammu like refugee in their own country.

Ashwani Kumar said that we want separate home state for Kashmirs being properly ruled by the law and order of Government of India where the residents of Kashmir could breathe peacefully.
 
He said that Kashmiri people wanted that their fundamental rights must be protected and security forces must be given free hand to sternly deal with the growing terrorisms.

Ashwani Kumar said that this Sankalp Yatra would cover the nine States and two Union Territories and would conclude at Gandhi Nagar in Gujarat.
