CHANDIGARH: Prof. Jogender Kaushal, former Prof. & Director Distance Education Punjabi University Patiala and  Kehar Singh, former Chairman Punjab School Education Board have expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of  Dr.S.S. Joshi, a noted linguist and a renowned teacher who died on Sunday in Fortis Hospital at Chandigarh.

Terming it a personal loss, Prof Kaushal said that  Joshi's untimely demise is a great loss to the entire academic community. In his condolence message  Kehar Singh said that Joshi was a man with remarkable qualities and touched scholastic heights due to his unmatched erudite approach in the academic world.

Dr.Joshi was admitted to hospital after he met with an accident on Saturday last.
