FATEHGARH SAHIB: A veteran freedom fighter, Shingra Singh  (106),  died Monday at his native village Shehjadpur near Sirhind  after a protracted illness.  He is suvived by two sons and three daughters

Hundreds of people attended the funeral. Bassi Pathana DSP S.S. Sohal and SDM Gurpal Singh  placed a wreath on the body of  Shingara  Singh on behalf of the state   government. Two minutes silence was also observed on this occasion.
