LUDHIANA: Charanjit Singh Atwal Deputy Speaker Lok Sabha has exhorted the Cultural and Social organizations to make concerted efforts to educate the youth about our rich cultural heritage, as the younger generation was not fully aware bought our moral and social values.

Atwal was addressing a well attended gathering of youth at a function organized by Youth Sabhyacharak Lok  Hiteshi Manch  at Guru Nanak  Dev Bhawan, Ludhiana, here on Saturday.

Atwal stressed upon the need to involve the youth in a big way to eradicate  serious social evils like dowry, female foeticide, pollution, drugs etc from the society, as these were bound to adversely affect the social system.

He said that the stage programs and plays were the most effective medium to educate and persuade  the youth towards constructive activities.

Speaking on the occasion , Sharanjit Singh Dhillon MP highly appreciated the initiative of Manch to organize a play named " Parindey Jaan Hun Kithey? "  aimed to create awareness among the youth about the serious problem of pollution in the environment.
