Not a mass productor of kites, he writes a message on every kite he makes.Whether its child labour, illetracy, drugs, pollution, water scarcity or dowry problem, Dr Sehgal has left no stone unturned in spreading messages among the masses through the medium of his kites.
Charging not a single penny for his creations , his ulitimate aim is to encourage youth to remain away from social evils. He not only marks social evils but also natural disasters likeTsunami, Gujrat earthquake. A kite flyer since childhood Sehgal got interested in kite making when he joined Punjab University in 1980 . “After I got a job , I settled down to the same usual routine of career, I never thought that I would be able to take my hobby very far, so I decided to concentrate on my work instead.” says Sehgal. But love for kites again empowered him in 2000 when he spotted an entry in the Guiness Book of World Records for the world’s smallest kite. Unluckily he was not able to go through it. . But in 2003, Sehgal set the national record of passing eight perfect miniature kites through the eye of a 0.003 inch needle. Gradually the increased to 13. The sceintist is still working on his ambition to get into the Guiness Book of World Records.
Dr. Sehgal was awarded Diploma by the authorities of Impossibility of Challenge Games, Germany for eastablishing World record in making the smallest paper kite.. He had been also awarded Ist prize in Basant Utsav-2002 and 2003, held at Chandigarh fro making perfect miniature educational kites on ‘Paryavaran and Social evils’.In the feild of protection of environment  and highlighting social evils, he won Punjab State Award in 2003.
Sehgal has organised amny workshops, seminars and lectures in school, colleges , residential colonies and fairs to enhance his struggle against social evils.

The Impossibility Challenger brings together record challengers and record holders that wan to establish or show new Guinness world records or personal records of any type. Not able to go there through his own means , Sehgal is inviting sposers who can aid his trip.
