Punjab to set up 3 regional cancer centres

PATIALA:Two ultra-modern regional cancer centres, will be set up by the Medical Education and Research Department, Punjab, will start functioning in Amritsar and Faridkot within six months and two years, respectively.

 



As per the information the department will set up three regional cancer centres in Patiala, Faridkot and Amritsar.

A large number of people suffering to cancer in certain pockets of Malwa and its adjoining areas. The prevalence of the malady is more intense in Patiala, Bathinda, Faridkot and Sangrur districts.
