Newly married injured by her ex boy friend.

AMRITSAR: A newly married young girl (26) Sukhdeep Kaur was injured when her ex boyfriend Jaswinder Singh fired shot with double barrel gun here on Sunday.



Police said incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, when Jaswinder Singh fired gun shot with the intention to kill Sukhdeep but she was immediately rushed to private hospital where she was declared out of danger after a brief surgery.

Police said that alleged accused Jaswinder Singh was aware of that Sukhdeep was leaving for Australia in the next two days.

According to the Police theory, girl Sukhdeep was having an affair with the alleged accused Jaswinder Singh but parents of the girl were never willing to marry off their daughter with Jaswinder.

Hence, Sukhdeep was married to Sukhpal Singh just one month back. But alleged accused Jaswinder was upset after the marriage of Sukhdeep and today he fired gun shot which hit at her abdomen when she was moving with her family in the car, said police.

After committing the crime alleged accused fled away, however police has registered the case under section 307 IPC attempt to murder.
