CHANDIGARH: Government College of Karamsar defeated MLBG Girls College, Tapprian Khurd 25-21, 14-25, 19-25, 25-16, 16-12=4 in the final to win the Panjab University Inter-College Volleyball 'B' Division (Women) Championship at the Panjab University Complex here on Wednesday.

In an earlier fixture,  Government College of Karamsar beat Satyam College of Education, Ghal Kalan by 20-25, 25-12, 26-24, 25-16.

Khalsa College, Garhdiwala claimed the Panjab University Inter-College Basketball 'B' Division (Women) Championship. Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36 finished runners-up. In the final match Khalsa College, Garhdiwala defeated Dev Samaj College of Education by 32-07.

Other results: Khalsa College, Garhdiwala bt GHG Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar 31-3; Dev Samaj College of Education, Chandigarh bt DAV College of Education Abohar by 38-25.

Gobind National College of Narangwal, District Ludhiana, claimed the PU Inter-College (men) 'B' Division Basketball Championship by beating  Khalsa College Ghardiwala by 66-64.
