Punjab police seized heroin worth 25 cr |

FEROZEPUR: The Ferozepur police got a shot in the arm Friday with the arrest of two wanted Indo-Pakistan smugglers and the recovery of a huge consignment of heroin worth Rs 25 crore in the international market, which was being smuggled inside the Indian territory.
While interaction with the media persons at CIA staff headquarters here Friday, DIG of Police, Ferozepur Range, R. P. Mittal and Dinesh Pratap, SSP, told that this was one of the largest recoveries made by the police in the border district. Mittal said the police had also arrested two wanted Indo-Pakistan drug peddlers identified as Sukhpal Singh, alias Sukha, of Machhiwala village, and Sukhdev Singh, also called Sukha, of Preetuwali village.
