DUBAI: Pakistan Peoples Party is likely to announce the name of the new Prime Minister after a party meeting on March 6.

PPP Charman Asif Ali Zardari said here on Monday that, the name of the new Prime Minister would not be announced for the next two days.

"The announcement is expected after a party meeting Zardari has called in Islamabad on March 6," the unnamed leader was quoted as saying in a news channel.

Zardari arrived in Dubai on Sunday, his first visit to the city after emerging as the largest party in the February 19 elections.

"The PPP co-Chairman is here in Dubai to take some rest after hectic election schedule and subsequent marathon meetings," the PPP leader said.
