LUDHIANA: The Court of Sessions Judge, G.K. Rai Friday allowed the application of former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh seeking permission to attend the state Assembly session on March 10.
The sources said that the court also exempted his personal appearance in the alleged multi-crore City Centre Scam, in which the hearing was fixed for March 10. The prosecution opposed the grant of exemption to him. But after hearing the arguments, the Judge allowed the application. Meanwhile, the same court also exempted the personal presence of family members of G.K. Gambhir, managing director of Today Homes company, namely Sunita Gambhir, Natasha Gambhir, Yeshu and Vikram Gambhir for the next date of hearing. |
